Dining hall and nourishment

The Home provides wholesome and nutritive food. This is served in the dining hall as per schedule:

• Bed coffee: 6.00 am – 6.30 am
• Breakfast: 7.30 am – 8.30 am
• Mid-morning coffee/tea: 10.30 am – 11.00 am
• Lunch: 12.30 pm – 1.30 pm
• Tea: 4.00 pm – 5.00 pm
• Dinner: 7.30 pm – 8.30 pm

The residents on prior approval from the Director  will be served in their own respective rooms on prior information the Director.

Prayer Hall

A well-set prayer hall/chapel is available from 6.00 am to 10.00 pm for residents. It can accommodate 30 people at a time. Daily prayers are organized in the morning and evening. Weekly Holy Mass is offered. The inmates are free to join the regular prayers/use the prayer room for meditation/prayer.

Recreation

Facilities are available for relaxation, keeping in the interest of residents such as: television, newspapers, periodicals, internet, indoor games and easy-sitting space.

Security

The centre assures safety of all its inmates with round the clock security and restricted entry. Generally gates are closed from 6.00 pm to 7.00 am. Home staff is available in any emergency requirements.

Medical Care

The Centre gives adequate care as fitting to a home for the elderly. A nurse is generally available round the clock. The staff accompanies the inmates to hospital for their routine checkup. Diagnostic centre is available at Payyal, half a kilometer away from the centre. For those who require: Sugar, BP and weight are tested/taken on a regular basis.

Visit of Relatives and Short Stay

Family members and close relatives of the residents informed during the time of admission are allowed to visit between 10.00 am. to 6.00 pm. Facilities are available for them to stay overnight. Due to the limited availability of space, prior intimation, booking and payment is required.
